Tab Trade — What It Is
TabTrade.com opened in Q1 2026. CFD broker based in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a FMA-regulated broker.
His background matters. It says the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not guarantee anything. It is better than a founder with no industry background.
The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, shares, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. Over 1,000 instruments. For a platform that launched in March 2026, that coverage is broad.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Two major platforms from one account. A lot of brokers only give you one or the other. Access to both is useful. You are not locked into one.
MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, Expert Advisors, massive community. If you know MT4 or MT5 before, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the cleaner option. Better DOM. Faster charting. cBot support. Many people like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is offered for automated strategies but requires the VIP account ($25k minimum). TradingView is said to be on the roadmap. That should make the platform set when it arrives.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. $0 to start. Good for beginners.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 per side. All-in: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is often a fraction of a pip. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for a broker with no minimum deposit. Most platforms that run raw pricing at this level require a minimum deposit. TabTrade requires zero deposit.
VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not for the average person. Skip it unless you move real size.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where this broker actually does something different. Equinix servers in London. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. That is proper execution targets. The average platform quote hundreds of milliseconds.
Should you care? If you scalp, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That is they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package is strong. Not many platforms in this bracket offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the detail that matters. TabTrade is under Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No fund protection scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, stop reading. There are ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, a tier-1 regulated broker. The execution setup is expensive. Dodgy operations do not pay for Equinix connectivity. That does not replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, cheap spreads, no minimum deposit, fast fills. Whether the trade-off works comes down to your priorities.
Welcome Offer
TabTrade has a welcome bonus of up to $2,000. Standard sign-up bonus. You deposit, they top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before the bonus becomes withdrawable. Check the terms before funding.
